Valentina and Michael’s wedding in Westchester County at VIP Country Club was truly one for the books. With Serbian and Italian roots, their families played an enormous role in shaping the celebration, blending rich cultural traditions that made the day exceptionally special. Proud of their American heritage as well, they embraced a fusion of traditions, with American flags flying during the reception alongside nods to their European backgrounds.

The day began with intimate getting-ready moments at their families' homes, where Michael came to see Valentina for the first time. Surrounded by their loved ones, the anticipation and excitement were palpable, making for a truly heartfelt start to the day.

From there, the couple traveled to Untermyer Gardens in Yonkers, where we captured stunning couple's photos and bridal party photos. The historic gardens provided a breathtaking backdrop, with lush greenery and intricate architecture adding an elegant, almost fairytale-like charm to their photos. Next, we made our way to VIP Country Club in New Rochelle, where the rest of the day's festivities unfolded. Upon arrival, we took family portraits, ensuring that every cherished moment with their loved ones was documented. The ceremony was a beautiful blend of their cultural traditions, followed by a reception that truly came to life. With lively Serbian and Italian music, traditional dances, and an outpouring of energy from family and friends, the night was filled with unforgettable moments. Guests toasted to the couple’s happiness, feasted on incredible cuisine, and danced the night away in true multicultural fashion.

As a photographer, it means so much to me to see how each couple decides to incorporate their families and family traditions into their wedding day.
